I liked the “will they?” back and forth in the other title I read from her and I knew going into this one that I enjoyed the style and way her Romantic Comedy books were written. Having read and thoroughly enjoyed Roommaid, I had to check out The Paid Bridesmaid when I saw it was coming out.

I do enjoy listening as I’m reading, and this narrator did a great job. This is an insta love tale that has a HEA and a pretty sweet epilogue. It’s amazing that so much can go wrong at a wedding but it still turns out to be a roaring success. The story is drawn out because of it, and I was getting bored. Although I do zone out when a lot of things get repetitive like why she can’t date any of the men at the wedding or how she needs to keep her anonymity to save her business. The story is told from Rachel’s pov only and there is plenty of inner dialogue, which I’m ok with. Not much could go wrong, right? Yeah…it did go wrong in so many places. The Bride is a social media influencer and everything was being streamed live. One of them, along with Rachel, head off to Hawaii for a destination wedding. She has a few employees that also could join the wedding party if needed. The story is of a woman, who owns a business being a hired bridesmaid. I read the synopsis, and saw it had the added audio and thought it could be a fun read / listen. Rachel’s made a career out of always a bridesmaid.but perhaps there’s a chance for her own trip down the aisle? If she’s a spy, she’s certainly the cutest one he’s ever seen.Īs the week’s worth of wedding events march along, Rachel and Camden are learning almost everything there is to know about each other.
